QookMe Operated by SIU Labs Ltd Last updated: 3 June 2026
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of QookMe, including our website, mobile applications, waitlist, subscriptions, and related services (the "Service"). QookMe is operated by SIU Labs Ltd ("SIU Labs", "we", "us", or "our"), a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales (Company No. 17145236), with its registered address at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What QookMe does
QookMe is a consumer-facing kitchen intelligence service designed to help households manage food inventory, reduce food waste, plan meals, generate recipe ideas, and make better use of ingredients already available at home.
QookMe may include features such as:
- AI recipe generation based on ingredients, preferences, and kitchen equipment.
- Food inventory tracking, expiry reminders, and shopping lists.
- Meal planning, leftovers suggestions, and waste reduction insights.
- Optional nutrition, dietary, allergen, health-goal, or disease-related personalisation.
- Voice, scan, image, or device-assisted features where available.
QookMe is not a medical device, healthcare service, emergency service, dietitian service, or substitute for professional advice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use QookMe. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age, that higher age applies. If you are under 18, you should use QookMe only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account or joining the waitlist.
4. Accounts and security
You may need an account to use certain features. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure.
- All activity under your account.
- Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your account is being misused, compromised, or used in breach of these Terms.
5. Plans, subscriptions, and billing
QookMe may offer free and paid plans, including:
- Free - limited access to core features.
- Plus - extended features at $4.99 per month.
- Pro - full feature access at $9.99 per month.
Prices may vary by country, tax treatment, promotions, or currency conversion. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless stated otherwise at checkout. Before you complete a purchase, the checkout should clearly show the QookMe product, plan, price, renewal terms, applicable taxes where shown, and whether you are entering into a subscription.
Paid QookMe plans are offered by SIU Labs Ltd. Billing questions, invoices, subscription access, cancellations, and refund requests are handled by SIU Labs through QookMe support.
If payment fails, we may suspend paid features or downgrade your account to a free plan until payment is resolved.
Before purchasing, you may be asked to confirm that you accept these Terms and our Refund Policy.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time through your QookMe account settings or by contacting us where direct cancellation is not available.
Unless applicable law provides otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will normally keep access to paid features until that date.
7. User content and licence
You may submit information to QookMe, including inventory items, recipes, meal preferences, dietary requirements, allergies, intolerances, health goals, household preferences, photos, scans, and other content ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant SIU Labs a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, process, analyse, display, and use your User Content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for making sure the information you submit is accurate, lawful, and not harmful.
8. Dietary, allergen, nutrition, and health information
QookMe may generate recipes, meal ideas, nutrition estimates, allergen-related suggestions, or diet-related outputs. These outputs are generated using software and artificial intelligence and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances.
You agree that:
- QookMe does not provide medical, clinical, dietetic, or nutritional diagnosis.
- QookMe does not replace a doctor, dietitian, nutritionist, allergist, or other qualified professional.
- You are responsible for checking ingredients, labels, allergens, expiry dates, cooking safety, and suitability before preparing or eating any food.
- If you have a medical condition, allergy, pregnancy-related need, eating disorder, prescribed diet, or other health concern, you should consult a qualified professional before relying on QookMe suggestions.
- In an emergency, you must contact local emergency services, not QookMe.
Where QookMe asks for disease-related, allergy, intolerance, or other health information, this may involve special category personal data. We will ask for separate consent where required. You can withdraw consent as described in the Privacy Policy and Health Information Consent Notice.
9. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, accounts, systems, or data.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, copy, or exploit the Service except where permitted by law.
- Upload malicious code, infringing content, or content that violates another person's rights.
- Use QookMe outputs as professional medical, legal, regulatory, or food safety advice.
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as professionally verified advice.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
10. Intellectual property
All software, design, branding, algorithms, models, databases, content, and materials provided through QookMe are owned by SIU Labs or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
The QookMe name, logo, and related marks may not be used without our prior written permission.
11. Beta, waitlist, and early access features
Some features may be provided as beta, preview, waitlist, early access, or experimental features. These may change, be interrupted, contain errors, or be discontinued at any time.
Statements about planned features, pricing, launch dates, or availability are not guarantees unless expressly confirmed in a written agreement.
12. Service availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee that QookMe will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features where necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, business reasons, or product improvement.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties, representations, and conditions that are not expressly stated in these Terms.
We do not guarantee that:
- AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable.
- Food, allergen, expiry, nutrition, or inventory data will be error-free.
- The Service will meet every dietary, medical, religious, cultural, or personal requirement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded by law.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIU Labs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
Our total liability to you for claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of:
- The amount you paid to us for QookMe in the 12 months before the claim; or
- GBP 100.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
15. Termination
You may stop using QookMe at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, create legal or security risk, or where we are required to do so by law.
After termination, provisions intended to survive will continue, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, and payment obligations already incurred.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by email, in-app notice, or website notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer protection laws require another forum or give you additional rights.
